3. Ginger Carrot Soup

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup coconut milk
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

4. Ginger Energy Balls

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup dates, pitted
  • 1/2 cup almonds
  • 1/4 cup rolled oats
  • 1 tablespoon ginger root powder
  • 1 tablespoon chia seeds
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut (optional, for rolling)

Instructions:

  1. Place the dates, almonds, oats, ginger root powder, chia seeds, honey, and vanilla extract in a food processor.

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, whisk together the ginger root powder, soy sauce, honey, lime juice, minced garlic, and sesame oil.
  2. Use the marinade for chicken, beef, or tofu, allowing it to marinate for at least 30 minutes before cooking.

6. Gingerbread Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons ground ginger
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup molasses
  • 1 large egg

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 175°C.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, and salt.
  3. In a separate bowl, beat the butter and brown sugar until creamy.
  4. Add the molasses and egg, and beat until well combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until combined.
  6. Roll the dough into balls and place on a baking sheet.
  7. Flatten each ball slightly with the bottom of a glass.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are set.
  9. Allow to cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely.
